Born in Tours, France to a Cypriot father and a French mother, Hélène Hadjiyianni is an artist, photographer and director. She has captured the lives and training of athletes such as Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, and Kylian Mbappé. She works on portrait series, driven by a desire to reveal individuals through their expertise, intimacy, and what in each of them speaks to our shared humanity.
Her campaigns include work for Moncler, Apple, Nike, LVMH, Prada, Universal, Netflix, Jordan, G-Shock, Camper. Her work has been published in The Times, L'Obs, Esquire, Emirates Woman, Apple, Le Point, The Red Bulletin…
In 2023 she directed her first documentary short, ANAÏS, a portrait of Anais Quemener, French marathon champion, nursing assistant at the Jean Verdier hospital in Bondy and breast cancer survivor at the age of 24. In 2024, the film won Best Documentary Short in Deauville, Best Portrait in Montreuil, Best Documentary Short in London and was Oscar® Qualified in the documentary short category.

2025 : ANAÏS was selected and presented by the Alliance Française and Villa Albertine to represent France at the San Francisco Francophone Film Festival. The American Association of Teachers of French integrated the film into the curriculum of French schools in the United States.
